Rules that depend on route, carrier or mode
The same item can be fine on one route and refused on another. We check this for each request.
- Origin
- Export rules differ by country.
- Destination
- Import rules for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region can differ and can change.
- Carrier
- Each carrier has its own list and can refuse items.
- Mode
- Air is stricter than road for batteries, liquids and flammable goods.
- Quantity and value
- Personal and commercial quantities can be treated differently at customs.
We do not publish a complete legal list. If something is not listed or you are unsure, staff review is required and the item is not approved until we confirm it in your request.
Your contents declaration is mandatory
Every request and booking asks you to confirm this:
I confirm the shipment contains no prohibited or restricted items (such as weapons, drugs, flammable or hazardous goods, cash or counterfeit goods) and that I have described the contents truthfully.
Our system also checks item names, descriptions and links against the prohibited list.
