Customs desk

Duty stays visible. It is not folded into the freight.

A planning guide for this corridor — not a customs ruling and not legal advice. The officer on the day decides. We would rather show the shape of the cost than pretend it is zero.

Three kinds of goods

Documents

Contracts, copies, company papers. Usually no duty. Declare them anyway so the gateway does not guess.

Personal effects

Clothes, gifts, a phone you already own. Keep the receipt. Under about €200 the duty is often nothing; above that, plan a small percentage.

Commercial cargo

Stock for a shop. It needs a real invoice, matching names, and a packing list. Duty is a separate number from our freight.

How release actually happens

  1. 01

Papers are checked at the European hub, before export.

  2. 02

Air arrives at Erbil. Road arrives through Ibrahim Khalil, then the gateway.

  3. 03

The declaration is filed in the receiver’s name.

  4. 04

If there is duty, you see it before release.

  5. 05

The city desk takes it to the door.

What we need from you

  • A purchase receipt or a commercial invoice
  • The receiver’s full name and a phone that answers
  • A city and a landmark, not only a district
  • A packing list when there is more than one piece
  • A company tax identity for commercial cargo

Do not send

  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Alcohol
  • Loose lithium batteries
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Medicines in bulk, or narcotics
  • Drones without a permit
  • Undeclared cash or precious metal
  • Perishable food
